1. 나무위키 관련 이용에 대한 전면 불허

제2항의 대상저작물을 나무위키에 복제·전재·재게시·배포·공중송신하는 행위를 일절 허락하지 아니하며, 나무위키 및 아래의 제외대상에 어떠한 이용허락도 부여하지 않습니다.

이 항에서 “제외대상”이란 나무위키(namu.wiki 및 그 모든 하위 도메인), 그 운영 법인인 umanle S.R.L. (UMANLE SOCIEDAD DE RESPONSABILIDAD LIMITADA), 나무위키 운영·배포 사업의 승계인, 나무위키 관련 서비스를 운영하는 계열·관계 법인 및 나무위키를 위하여 행위하는 운영진·직원·편집자·기여자·대리인·수탁자를 말합니다. 나무위키의 대체·변경 도메인과 미러·프록시·앱·API를 비롯한 나무위키 콘텐츠 배포 경로에도 이 항을 적용합니다.

이용을 불허하는 범위에는 본문 전재, 캡처·이미지·PDF 등에 의한 복제, 데이터 수집·적재, 보호되는 표현 또는 창작적 편집 구성을 유지한 번역·수정·재가공 및 제3자·다른 사이트·기관·AI를 거쳐 나무위키 또는 제외대상에 대상저작물을 제공하는 행위가 포함됩니다. 법인명·서비스명·도메인·운영 주체·등록 국가·소재지가 변경되거나 출처를 표시하였다는 사정, 또는 비영리 목적이라는 사정만으로 이용허락이 부여되는 것은 아닙니다.

제3항의 일반 사전승인 절차, 제4항의 기관·대학에 대한 사전승인 면제 및 제5항의 AI 접근 허용은 나무위키 관련 이용에 적용하지 아니합니다. 이 항은 위 각 항에 우선하여 적용하며, 나무위키 관련 이용은 일반 사전승인의 대상에서도 제외합니다.

2. 대상저작물 및 권리의 범위

이 정책에서 “대상저작물”이란 이 사이트에 게시된 자료 가운데 esiz가 저작권을 보유하는 창작적인 번역 표현, 해설·주석 및 자료의 창작적인 선택·배열·구성을 말합니다. 대상저작물의 저작권은 esiz에게 귀속되며, 이 정책 또는 개별 서면승인으로 명시적으로 허락하지 아니한 권리는 유보합니다. © 2026 esiz.

이 정책은 기초가 된 미국 정부 원문 자체의 권리 상태나 제3자 사진·그림·인용 자료의 개별 권리 및 라이선스를 변경하지 아니합니다. 이 정책의 해석과 적용은 적용 가능한 법률에 따릅니다.

3. 일반 이용의 사전승인

대상저작물의 복제·전재·재게시·배포·공중송신 등 저작권자의 허락을 요하는 이용은 [email protected]으로 요청하여 사전 서면승인(이메일에 의한 승인 포함)을 받은 경우에 한하여, 그 승인 범위 안에서 허용합니다. 승인 요청의 발송이나 출처 표시만으로 이용허락이 이루어진 것으로 보지 아니합니다.

4. 대한민국 기관·대학에 대한 사전승인 면제

대한민국 국가기관·지방자치단체 및 그 소속기관, 「공공기관의 운영에 관한 법률」 제4조에 따라 지정된 공공기관, 「학술진흥법」 제2조 제3호에 해당하는 국내 연구기관 및 대한민국 소재의 대학(국공립·사립대학, 전문대학 및 대학원대학 포함)은 번역·편집자(esiz), 자료 제목 및 해당 페이지 주소를 표시하고 해당 기관의 명의와 책임으로 이용하는 경우에 한하여, 제3항의 사전승인을 면제합니다.

이 면제는 소속 개인의 개인적인 게시나 제3자에 대한 재허락을 포함하지 아니합니다. 해당 기관이 공개한 자료를 열람하였다는 사정만으로 제3자에게 재게시·재배포의 권한이 부여되는 것도 아닙니다. 대상저작물을 나무위키 또는 제1항의 제외대상에 제공하거나 나무위키 또는 제외대상을 위하여 이용하는 경우에는 이 면제를 적용하지 아니합니다.

5. AI 검색 및 자료 조회

AI 시스템이 검색·색인·자료 조회 및 출처를 표시한 질의응답을 수행하기 위한 자동 접근과 그에 필요한 처리를 허용합니다. 다만, 이 허용에는 대상저작물 전체 또는 실질적인 부분을 다른 서비스에 전재·재배포하거나, 공개 데이터셋으로 배포하거나, 제3자에게 다시 이용을 허락할 권한은 포함되지 아니합니다. 나무위키 관련 이용에는 이 허용을 적용하지 아니합니다.

6. 권리 귀속 및 재허락 금지

이 정책은 대상저작물에 관한 권리를 나무위키·게시자·운영 법인 또는 제3자에게 귀속시키거나, Creative Commons 등 다른 라이선스를 붙여 다시 이용을 허락할 권한을 부여하지 아니합니다. 나무위키나 다른 서비스의 이용약관·기여 규칙·라이선스는 esiz의 이용허락을 대신하지 못하며, 출처를 표시하거나 대상저작물을 자기 저작물이라고 주장하였다는 사정만으로 위 권한이 부여되는 것도 아닙니다.

1. No Permission for Namuwiki-Related Use

Reproduction, republication, distribution, or communication to the public on Namuwiki of the Covered Material defined in Section 2 is not permitted under this policy. No license or permission whatsoever is granted to Namuwiki or any Excluded Party identified below.

“Excluded Parties” means Namuwiki (namu.wiki and all its subdomains); its operator, umanle S.R.L. (UMANLE SOCIEDAD DE RESPONSABILIDAD LIMITADA); successors to the operation or distribution of Namuwiki; affiliated or related entities operating Namuwiki-related services; and administrators, employees, editors, contributors, agents, or contractors acting for Namuwiki. This section also applies to replacement or renamed Namuwiki domains, mirrors, proxies, applications, APIs, and other channels distributing Namuwiki content.

The prohibited uses include republication of text; reproduction as screenshots, images, PDFs, or similar formats; collection or ingestion of data; translations, modifications, or adaptations retaining protected expression or creative editorial arrangement; and provision of the Covered Material to Namuwiki or any Excluded Party through third parties, other websites, institutions, or AI systems. Changes to a corporate name, service name, domain, operator, country of registration, or location do not grant permission. Neither attribution alone nor a noncommercial purpose grants permission.

The general prior-approval procedure in Section 3, the institutional and university exemptions in Section 4, and AI-access permission in Section 5 do not apply to Namuwiki-related use. This section takes precedence over those sections. Namuwiki-related use is also excluded from the general prior-approval procedure.

2. Covered Material and Scope of Rights

“Covered Material” means the original translated expression, commentary, annotations, and creative selection, arrangement, or composition published on this website in which esiz owns copyright. Copyright in the Covered Material belongs to esiz. All rights not expressly granted by this policy or by individual written approval are reserved. © 2026 esiz.

This policy does not change the rights status of the underlying U.S. government source material or the separate rights and licenses applicable to third-party photographs, illustrations, or quoted material. This policy is interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable law.

3. Prior Approval for General Use

Reproduction, republication, distribution, communication to the public, and other uses of the Covered Material requiring the copyright holder's permission are permitted only after prior written approval, including approval by email, has been requested and obtained from [email protected], and only within the scope of that approval. Sending a request or providing attribution does not itself constitute permission.

4. Prior-Approval Exemption for Institutions, Universities, and Colleges in the Republic of Korea

National government bodies, local governments, and their subordinate agencies in the Republic of Korea; public institutions designated under Article 4 of the Act on the Management of Public Institutions; research institutions located in the Republic of Korea falling within subparagraph 3 of Article 2 of the Sciences Promotion Act (학술진흥법); and universities and colleges located in the Republic of Korea (including national, public, and private universities, junior colleges, and graduate-only universities) are exempt from the prior approval required by Section 3 only when they identify the translator and editor (esiz), the material's title, and the relevant page URL, and use the Covered Material in the institution's own name and under its responsibility.

This exemption does not cover personal publication by affiliated individuals or grant a right to sublicense the Covered Material to third parties. Access to material publicly released by an institution does not itself give third parties further rights of republication or redistribution. The exemption does not apply to provision of the Covered Material to, or use for, Namuwiki or any Excluded Party identified in Section 1.

5. AI Search and Information Retrieval

Automated access and necessary processing by AI systems for search, indexing, information retrieval, and source-attributed answers are permitted. This permission does not include the right to republish or redistribute all or a substantial part of the Covered Material on another service, distribute it as a public dataset, or sublicense it to third parties. This permission does not apply to Namuwiki-related use.

6. No Transfer of Rights or Relicensing

This policy does not grant authority to vest rights in the Covered Material in Namuwiki, an uploader, an operating entity, or any third party, or to relicense it under Creative Commons or any other license. The terms of service, contribution rules, or license of Namuwiki or another service do not substitute for permission from esiz. Attribution or a claim that the Covered Material is one's own work does not create that authority.
